Morrison Meatballs

I believe my Mom picked this recipe up among her work friends when she was at General American. I have no idea who owns the original recipe but they became a staple in our house for every holiday party when I was growing up so I dubbed them “Morrison Meatballs.” Every person who tries them loves the taste but they can’t nail down what’s bringing the flavor. The best part of this recipe is the look on their face when you tell them what’s in it. It is literally three ingredients…

NOTE: I would normally make my own meatballs so that would require more than three ingredients but this is the way my momma did it so that’s they way I’m going to share it.

Plus, going this route with the frozen meatballs makes this a super easy recipe for busy families who may need a quick appetizer. You literally dump everything into the crockpot and cook on high for 3-4 hours. Done!

This recipe makes a big batch of meathballs. If you have some leftovers, use them for a delicious meatball sub or freeze them for later use.
