Over the last couple years, many of us followed the rehab of the huge brick building on the corner of Main & Mill in Festus, MO. It really is an impressive building and they’ve done a great job with the renovation! The much anticipated hot spot has been pulling in curious fans since they opened.
My boys and I finally made it to Main & Mill to celebrate the end of Brendan’s high school basketball career. We had a fun time trying out various dishes and of course, my husband and I had to try the beer paddle with samples of all their brews. The cheddar ale pretzel served with beer cheese bisque is not to be missed! Our other appetizer was chicken wings served with maple bacon syrup and serrano waffles. All the boys chose a pub burger and fries. They are so boring. I, on the other hand, chose the beer and bacon mac-n-cheese. It was unusual but delicious!
Because the building is mainly wood and brick inside, it is not conducive to good photos. I grabbed a few photos with my cell phone but they are dark. I just encourage you to go check it out for yourselves. Support our local businesses!
